di·a·logue: an exchange of ideas and opinions.

At the Miller College of Business, we bring this concept to life each fall with our signature event: Dialogue Days. This unique experience gives students an invaluable, hands-on introduction to professional development, networking, and in-depth discussions on relevant business topics. It’s often their first exposure to a conference setting, and it’s designed to immerse them in a world of learning, collaboration, and professional growth.

Panelist discussion during Dialogue Days

Now in its 36th year, Dialogue Days has grown into a comprehensive, hands-on experience that mirrors a professional conference. This year, we hosted over 60 panel discussions and workshops, led by more than 120 business alumni who traveled from across the country to share their expertise. Alumni from Indiana, Delaware, Florida, Iowa, Illinois, Kentucky, Michigan, North Carolina, Ohio, Texas, and Wisconsin joined us, demonstrating their dedication to supporting the next generation of business leaders. Their insights, coupled with the guidance of 49 faculty moderators, provided a dynamic platform for learning and connection. Simply put, this transformative experience would not be possible without the dedication of our alumni and faculty.

This year’s Dialogue Days saw a remarkable turnout, with student attendance surpassing 3,000—a 58% increase over the previous year. The impact is clear: students leave Dialogue Days with new perspectives, stronger networks, and the confidence to pursue their professional goals.

Such deep, transformative experiences are possible because of our loyal alumni, whose dedication is a cornerstone of Miller College’s unique advantage. Relationship-building, engagement, teamwork, real-world business insights, and a shared commitment all come together to create an experience that sets our students apart.

For their dedication, we extend our sincere gratitude and appreciation to our alumni and business community members. Dialogue Days exemplify the power of connection and collaboration, and we look forward to seeing the continued positive impact on our students’ futures.
