Celebrating Diversity: Key Observances That Foster Inclusivity, Reflection, and Understanding, October 2024

In this post, we’re proud to introduce a dedicated space for inclusive dates which highlights key heritage, history, and awareness months, as well as important dates for religious holidays and cultural observances. At Ball State, we recognize that these moments serve as vital opportunities for reflection, education, and celebration. Each month, we’ll feature events and resources that honor the diversity of experiences and backgrounds within our community. We’ll also spotlight religious holidays and observances that hold significance for our students, staff, and faculty, ensuring our campus remains a space that respects and acknowledges diverse spiritual practices.

Through these featured dates and celebrations, we encourage everyone to engage, learn, and take part in building a more inclusive and culturally aware environment. Stay tuned for upcoming events and opportunities to get involved!

More information can be found on our Inclusive Calendar page.
