It’s that time of year! Students are back from Thanksgiving break, ready to grind out the last three weeks of schoolwork and finals before the Christmas season. But before packing up your dorm, make sure to celebrate the holiday season with the Honors College and our awesome student organizations!
This Wednesday, November 30th, the Honors Association for Community Engagement (HACE), invites you to Cocoa & Crafts from 7-9 p.m.! Located at the Ball Honors House, this fun-filled event will allow students to take a break from studying to join HACE for a coffee and hot chocolate bar, plenty of snacks, and holiday ornament decorating! These decorations will add special touches to the Honors House and Gathering Area Christmas Tree for the upcoming holiday season!
After decorating your special holiday ornament with HACE, make sure to stop by the Ball Honors House on Thursday, December 1st, between 8:30 and 11 a.m. to grab a delicious donut and coffee/hot chocolate sponsored by the Student Honors Council (SHC)! These morale-boosting donuts in the Honors House are a great way to take a break from the cold weather, so come on in any time between 8:30 and 11 a.m. on Thursday! There will also be a second chance to decorate an ornament for the Gathering Area if you are unable to attend Cocoa & Crafts with HACE.
With the holidays and finals fast on the rise, do not forget to take some time for yourself. These two awesome student organizations are working hard to ensure that students have what they need to power through these last three weeks of classes and finals. Finish strong, Honors Students!
