All Honors College students are required to complete an honors thesis. The honors thesis appointments process has changed, but we have you covered!
Planning to graduate in 2020? If so, have you signed up for your thesis meeting?
If you have yet to do so, you are in luck because SEPTEMBER IS THESIS PLANNING MONTH!
September has been set aside for honors thesis appointments just for you. Please call the Honors House (765 285-1024) to set up your appointment for the dates indicated below.
For students with a last name beginning with:
A-E, September 3-6
F-L, September 9-13
M-R, September 16-20
S-Z, September 23-27
If there are extenuating circumstances that prevent you from signing up for an honors thesis appointment during your week, please contact the Honors Front Desk to schedule a time for September 30, October 1, or an another alternative time during the month of September. Otherwise, you should schedule your appointment time as noted above.
Or are you interested in participating in an Honors 499 Class? If so, follow this link to find out more about this option.
Honors 499: The Class offers students the opportunity to have a more structured experience to planning, researching and writing their Honors Thesis.
If you decide to pursue this option, you must submit an application by October 2, 2019. You do not need to set up a separate thesis meeting, however.
By October 2, students should have either had a thesis appointment OR have submitted an application for the Honors 499 Class.
