What led you to your graduate program at BSU?

I decided I wanted to be at Ball State, ride or die! BSU is where I felt most comfortable, and my great aunt sat on the board at the time.

What was your proudest memory as a BSU grad student?

My proudest memory is walking across the graduation stage as a mom of two kids who was also working full time.

How have you been able to use your graduate degree(s) from BSU?

I’m currently an Assistant Principal at Nora Elementary in Washington Township, and I’ve been in the role for 8 years. I’m doing what I went to school for: to lead and learn while making a difference in Washington Township.

What advice or wisdom do you have to share with current BSU grad students?

Take really good notes! At night and on the weekends, never give up, even though grad school can feel like a very daunting task.
