She also serves as vice president of the Scheumann Family Foundation, supporting philanthropic efforts in her community. For more than 25 years, he has led academic, student life, and athletics projects for universities across the country, along with work for professional sports organizations. A recipient of the University\u2019s 2021 Alumni Achievement Award, he has served on the Ball State College of Architecture and Planning Dean\u2019s Advisory Board and the Department of Architecture Professional Advisory Board. A four-year letterman on the Cardinal football team, he also holds the Certified Insurance Counselor designation. In 2017, he and two partners purchased Stammen Insurance Group in Celina, Ohio. He also chairs the board of the American Journalism Project and serves as a trustee of the ABIM Foundation. Previously, he was CEO of the Online News Association. Ball State\u2019s School of Journalism and Strategic Communication recognized him with its 2024 Outstanding Alumni Award.<\/p>\n<h3>Continuing Service<\/h3>\n<p class=\"s2\">The Board also re-elected seven directors for three-year terms: Patrick J. Alderdice, \u201992, Charles A. Barth, \u201992, David W. Heeter, \u201983, Robert S. Kaspar, \u201981, Kelli A. Lawrence, \u201901, Keith A. Robinson, \u201995, and Kyle J. Williams, \u201900.<\/p>\n<p class=\"s2\">Additionally, the Board also elected officers for two-year terms: David W. Heeter, \u201983, as chair; Geoffrey S. Mearns as vice chair; Jill S. Lacy, \u201992, as chair-elect; Timothy M. Andrews, \u201984, as secretary; and Patrick J. Alderdice, \u201992, as immediate past chair.<\/p>\n<p class=\"s2\">The Foundation thanks four directors concluding their Board service: Marla K. Templeton, &#8217;81, and Donald D. Dumoulin II, \u201982, who both joined the Board in 2014; James R. Williams, who joined in 2016; and Thomas B. Bryan, \u201977, who joined in November 2017. Mr. Williams will continue his service on the Foundation Board as general counsel, in an ex officio, non-voting capacity.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p class=\"s2\">\u201cWe are honored to welcome four new members and are excited to have seven directors continue their service on the Ball State University Foundation Board,\u201d said Jean Kramer Crosby. \u201cThese outstanding leaders bring varied expertise, accomplished leadership, and perspectives shaped by diverse industries and regions across the country.
