How do you imagine them?<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">I don&#8217;t know if I have an ideal<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">reader, but there are two specific people who I often think about when in the final stages of editing a draft. Would I be embarrassed if I were reading this aloud to them? Sometimes I forget to do this, and . . . I should do this all the time.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><strong><span style=\"color: #800000\"><span style=\"color: #ba0c2f\">What made you fall in love with writing and\/or reading?<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">A combination of boredom and escapism. I was an only child and my TV intake was strictly limited for the first seventeenish years of my life. I feel like I&#8217;m about to say something very cliche like, &#8220;This was before the internet,&#8221; but it <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">wasn&#8217;t <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">before the internet, it was just before widespread smartphones and personal computers. So if I wanted to be on social media, I had to do it from the tiny office where my parents also worked, on our shared home computer. And ew, no thank you. So I read a lot of books, and I was an annoying, precocious child with supportive parents who have humanities degrees and that combination eventually turned into what my life is today.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #800000\"><strong><span style=\"color: #ba0c2f\">What song or album best captures the aesthetic of your writing?<\/span>\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">There are many answers that I would <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">like <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">to be true, but the honest answer is probably more like &#8220;Indie Night at the Goth Club&#8221;&#8216;s <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/nam12.safelinks.protection.outlook.com\/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fopen.spotify.com%2Fplaylist%2F0GHGM4stqt8snoSn63xZyO%3Fsi%3DGJrAbTcJQNqBwBT1Qal44Q&amp;data=04%7C01%7Cgcgoze%40bsu.edu%7C6714651d740e46ac144608d8d457c6bd%7C6fff909f07dc40da9e30fd7549c0f494%7C0%7C0%7C637492820791114596%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJWIjoiMC4wLjAwMDAiLCJQIjoiV2luMzIiLCJBTiI6Ik1haWwiLCJXVCI6Mn0%3D%7C1000&amp;sdata=BCFyqvqWMUaktLTqwXlUxCdUxGwyxFegiRenqe9Ggwo%3D&amp;reserved=0\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">eponymous Spotify playlist<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">.
