A photo of DS Assistant Director, Mackenzie Cook

Mackenzie Cook – Assistant Director

  • I’m Mackenzie, a graduate from BSU. My masters programs were in Clinical and Quantitative Psychology. I was the graduate assistant for DS for two years and have been in the office in my first professional staff role for a year. Aside from work, I love to try new art styles and exploring various creative outlets. I am also a big fan of national parks and always accepting travel tips.
  • My favorite movie is Howl’s Moving Castle.
  • Favorite food is penne rosa with crispy jalapenos (discontinued at Noodles and Company – may she rest in peace).
  • What I like most about working in DS is of course the students. It is especially nice to be able to assist students who may have had a negative experience in K-12 regarding accommodations. Overall, I love to see how students become better advocates for themselves and how they achieve success here at Ball State.
