This week’s spotlight is on Mackenzie Cook, one of our new Assistant Directors! Mackenzie was a graduate assistant for our office previously, and we are happy to have her on our team! Learn more about Mac below!

Mackenzie Cook – Assistant Director

• I’m Mackenzie, a recent graduate from BSU. My masters programs were in Clinical and Quantitative Psychology. I was the graduate assistant for DS the past two years and now have my first professional staff role in the office. Aside from work, I love to try new art styles and exploring various creative outlets. I am also a big fan of national parks and always accepting travel tips.
• My favorite movie is Howl’s Moving Castle.
• Favorite food is penne rosa w/ crispy jalapenos.
• What I like most about working in DS is of course the students. It is especially nice to be able to assist students who may have had a negative experience in k-12 regarding accommodations. Overall, I love to see how students become better advocates for themselves and how they achieve success here at Ball State.
