It’s been an eventful and busy time in the Disability Services Office this Fall! During this time, our team has changed a bit as well, so we want to take the time to introduce and re-introduce our team! We will make a weekly post to help you get to know our amazing team, starting today with our fearless leader – Dr. Courtney Jarrett!

Dr. Courtney Jarrett – Director

• Dr. CJ is the Director of the DS office, where she has worked happily for the last 16 years. She also teaches in the WGAS department. In her free time, Courtney likes to hang out with the Jarrett Bros, read for fun and go to movies/musicals/concerts.
• Favorite movies – Tommy Boy & Roman Holiday
• Favorite TV shows – The West Wing and Parks & Recreation
• Favorite food – Bruschette (toasted French bread, whipped ricotta, & honey) Favorite snack – Twizzlers or Milk Duds
• Dr. CJ’s favorite part of working the DS office is the people – both the humans that work in the DS office and the students/faculty/staff/families/visitors who we interact with on a regular basis. Collaborating with others to make BSU accessible is fun and rewarding. Watching students participate in Commencement and seeing their hard work pay off is a bonus.
