With the holidays approaching, you may be looking for something to do with friends or family. DOMA has many opportunities and events that visitors can experience together. This November, there will be a metal casting weekend workshop, as well as tours covering the Native American and Pacific art that are featured in the museum.<\/p>\n

Before Thanksgiving, come and give thanks for the many wonderful and unique works of art created through more than 5,000 years of the history of art. The David Owsley Museum of Art is the perfect place to experience a variety of cultures and their artistic heritage.<\/p>\n

What’s Happening in November?<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\n<\/strong>First Person: Mark Sawrie, guest curator of Being There<\/em>
\n<\/strong>In this conversational tour, photographer and professor Mark Sawrie illuminates the ideas and choices driving the exhibition of photographs from the David Owsley Museum of Art’s collection.<\/p>\n

\n<\/strong>Participants will create a small cast aluminum sculpture during this two-weekend workshop with artist-teacher Aaron Nicholson.
