Optimistic.\u00a0Driven.\u00a0These\u00a0three\u00a0things barely scrape the surface of\u00a0the Project Management powerhouse that Sydney Jauregui is.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text is-stacked-on-mobile\"><figure class=\"wp-block-media-text__media\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.bsu.edu\/digitalcorps\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/fall2023-sidneyj-1024x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2596 size-full\" \/><\/figure><div class=\"wp-block-media-text__content\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cIf I do something, I\u2019m giving it 100%, at least.\u201d <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Over the past\u00a0three\u00a0years,\u00a0Sydney\u00a0has\u00a0been growing in the areas she knew the least about, and that was on purpose.\u00a0While she\u00a0has\u00a0managed\u00a0several projects\u00a0pertaining to\u00a0videos, social media campaigns, PBS television shows, and\u00a0more,\u00a0her favorite would be\u00a0software\u00a0development\u00a0projects.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201c[Development projects] have really just challenged me to ask the right questions\u00a0to understand, so that I understood the development process\u00a0better, and knew how to better\u00a0manage\u00a0the project for the sake of the students who are working on it\u00a0as well.\u201d\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sydney\u2019s\u00a0projects\u00a0at\u00a0the\u00a0Digital Corps\u00a0have\u00a0allowed her to focus on collaboration and connection with other\u00a0people, clients, students, and\u00a0coworkers\u00a0alike.\u00a0She\u00a0strives to make each person feel heard\u00a0and\u00a0wants them to know that their work is\u00a0appreciated.\u00a0Over the years she has figured out\u00a0how to advocate\u00a0and\u00a0care for\u00a0her team.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cI think just understanding that we all come from\u00a0different places,\u00a0different\u00a0places\u00a0of\u00a0interest, and we all have different passions.\u00a0I\u2019m\u00a0really passionate\u00a0about organization, communication, and all that kind of stuff, but that may not be someone else\u2019s interest.\u00a0I learn so much whenever I ask about other people\u2019s\u00a0interests\u00a0or have a quality conversation with them.\u201d\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">She takes this love of learning and advocation and applies it to much more than just The\u00a0Digital\u00a0Corps.\u00a0She\u2019s\u00a0utilized\u00a0these skills and honed them with her\u00a0job experience in the \u2018real\u00a0world\u2019\u00a0and\u00a0in her day-to-day life.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">While Sydney\u00a0is a\u00a0dedicated\u00a0professional,\u00a0she\u2019s\u00a0also\u00a0a huge\u00a0advocate for hobbies\u00a0and taking time for yourself.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cI know that for some people, their job or\u00a0their\u00a0professional experience\u00a0defines\u00a0who they are, and\u00a0I\u2019m\u00a0trying to make\u00a0the\u00a0separation\u00a0between things I\u00a0actually enjoy\u00a0and work.\u201d\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sydney Jauregui has made\u00a0an impressive impact on\u00a0each and every\u00a0project she has touched over\u00a0the\u00a0years and\u00a0has taught and fostered such a kind and positive\u00a0environment for her peers.\u00a0At the Digital Corps, we have\u00a0loved\u00a0watching\u00a0her grow, learn, and change,\u00a0and we are\u00a0excited to see what she does in the future!\u00a0<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Go-getting.
