Being an intern in public history \u2013 it sounds exciting, doesn’t it? But maybe it’s also a bit intimidating. That’s okay! I’m here to tell you it’s not unmanageable; in fact, it’s filled with untapped possibilities and opportunities for growth, if you know how to navigate it. That’s where this handy guide comes in. Below, you’ll find my top eight tips on how to not just survive, but thrive, in your public history internship. We’ll cover everything from the adrenaline rush of research, to juggling multiple projects, to the art of virtual networking. So strap in, take notes, and get ready to rock this virtual gig!<\/p>\n
