Giving Tree Project: Our Story

The Giving Tree stands as a distinctive emblem, celebrating the generosity of our
donors and embodying our clinics’ core values: Empathy, Clarity, Respect, and Integrity. Inspired by a prominent Ginkgo Tree on campus, it mirrors the resilience, longevity, and hope that Ginkgos represent. Situated at the campus’s core, this tree perfectly symbolizes our patients and students, who are central to our mission of providing community health services and training future healthcare professionals.

Your contribution to the Giving Tree, represented by a personalized leaf or Cardinal, allows you to leave a lasting message or tribute. For our patients and families, this is a chance to acknowledge the positive impact our students and team have had on your lives or the lives of those you care about. For our partners, it’s an opportunity to celebrate our shared commitment to a healthy and thriving East Central Indiana.

Your contributions will directly fund vital health, developmental, and well-being services for our East Central Indiana community. Each leaf or Cardinal on the Giving Tree symbolizes a tangible improvement in the lives of individuals and families across our region and beyond. Recognizing the financial challenges faced by some in our community, the Giving Tree Project aims to raise funds to support their goals in areas such as:

  •  Treating hearing loss
  • Improving mental health through counseling
  • Enhancing communication with speech and language therapy
  • Promoting health and wellness with exercise and nutritional support
