The Interprofessional Community Clinics (ICCs) at Ball State is excited to introduce a new way to show your support: The Giving Tree! Launching on this year’s One Ball State Day, April 2nd, this annual donor recognition wall is a beautiful way to honor those who generously contribute to the clinic’s mission of providing quality health services to our community while training the next generation of healthcare providers.
With an annual donation, you can have your name and a custom message to proudly recognize your time and training at Ball State displayed on The Giving Tree:
- $250 donation – Small Leaf
- $500 donation – Large Leaf
- $1,000 donation – Cardinal
The goal of this Giving Tree is not only to honor generous supporters, patients, alumni, and community partners but also to further address the health and wellness needs of our communities. This first year, in consideration of those in our East Central Indiana communities with financial need, the ICCs’ Giving Tree Project seeks to raise funds to financially support individuals’/families’ goals of:
- Treating hearing loss
- Improving mental health with counseling support
- Enhancing communication through speech and language therapy
- Advancing health and wellness through exercise and nutritional support
The Giving Tree will be updated on an annual basis, and in the early Spring season, we will add new leaves and cardinals to those who would like to renew their support or plant the way for new supporters to give. Your contribution will ensure that individuals and families continue to have access to important health services regardless of their circumstances.
If you are interested in being one of the first people on the tree before launch or would like more information about getting involved, please feel free to contact me, the Associate Dean for Clinical Affairs, Blair Mattern, or Ben Slavin of the Ball State Foundation.
