The College of Health offers up a huge congratulations to Associate Lecturer of Kinesiology, Kendra Zenisek, as the 2021-2022 recipient of the Lawhead Teaching Award in General Education.

Vic and Doris Lawhead, who valued greatly the standards and traditions of liberal arts education, established this award to recognize those who have made strong contributions to the Core Curriculum at Ball State.
The award recognizes Zenisek’s outstanding contributions to teaching and service in the University Core Curriculum, as well as her strong commitment to creating an excellent learning environment for students.

Zenisek says of this honor, “I am fortunate to be surrounded by some amazing colleagues who definitely helped make this possible and embody the PFW Program’s mission of positively impacting student wellness.
Ultimately, none of this would have even been possible without the valued leadership and tremendous support of Dr. Weidner, our Program’s biggest advocate and cheerleader.”
