The College of Health has partnered with the Addictions Coalition of Delaware County, with generous support provided by IU Health and Urban Light Community Church, to present the 3rd annual Delaware County Symposium on Substance Use Disorders.
Join us on March 15, 2022 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. for the following sessions:
Morning Session (9:00 am – 12:00 pm)
Ball State Student Center, Cardinal Hall A & B (2000 W. Riverside Ave., Muncie, IN. 47306)
The morning session will include several talks establishing a foundation on addiction as a disease, as well as the state of substance use disorders in Delaware County. It will be followed by a moderated discussion on the role of faith in addressing substance use crises and local services available.

This lunch is provided free-of-cost thanks to the very generous support of the Urban Light Church and their associated grant funders. A resource fair on recovery- and treatment-related services will be provided concurrently. Afternoon Session (1:00 – 4:00 pm)

The afternoon session will highlight a personal story of addiction and recovery and a keynote talk. Finally, local experts in addiction, health, and behavioral health services will guide a town hall panel discussions about coordinated response to crisis intervention in Delaware County.
