On November 14, CCIM will be hosting its annual Career & Internship Fair from 9 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. in the David Letterman Building Lobby.

Students across all majors and minors are welcome to attend and take advantage of the chance to network with companies, get a free professional headshot, and get their resume critiqued.

To help you prepare for this exciting event, here is some advice from CCIM students!

Meeting people for the first time can be intimidating whether you’re the one trying to make an impression or you’re being approached by someone yelling “Excuse me! For a sticker…”

Seeing others model what you’re trying to do can sometimes help to ease those worries — regardless of how successful they are. So, we’ve included a blooper reel from the footage of the CCIM Outreach staff’s attempt to gather career fair-related advice from students.

If it doesn’t make you more confident about approaching new people at the CCIM+ Career and Internship Fair, we hope it at least lightens the mood as you prepare for the big day.
