CCIM’s display was focused on showcasing a few of the ways our college is working with and in the Muncie and Delaware County Communities. Among the wealth of projects to discuss were two that graduate student Olivia Weinzapfel, who attended the event, worked on: the Muncie Cradle to Career initiative and a virtual reality Chuck Taylor All-Star experience for the Indiana Historical Society.

Also present to speak on the importance our college has placed on responding to the impact of expanding technological landscapes was Dr. Josh Fisher, assistant professor in the School of Journalism and Strategic Communication.

CCIM students were also represented as part of the County Ambassador Program, including students from the McKinley Avenue Agency who worked on the Staying IN campaign.

Overall, the day was a wonderful opportunity to speak with Indiana legislators and promote some of the wonderful things happening within CCIM.
