Columbus, Indiana resident Seena Greiwe is creating social media and digital content for major NCAA Final Four accounts — and her work is raking in hundreds of likes and thousands of views.

Through an externship with the NCAA, she’ll continue building the brand of the collegiate sports organization.

The telecommunications major at Ball State — who’s only a sophomore — is in Minneapolis shooting video and digital content of the Men’s Basketball Final Four championship, which will be posted on the NCAA Final Four social media accounts like Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.

During the most electrifying victories, Greiwe will be there with her camera to capture it all, for millions of NCAA followers.

Greiwe is a student member of Sports Link, the nation’s first digital sports production program at Ball State. Her talent in content creation earned her the externship with the NCAA, which enables her to cover nine other D1 championships, in addition to the Final Four.

Traveling all across the country to work onsite, Greiwe will shoot and create social media content for Women’s Indoor and Beach Volleyball Final Four, Softball and Baseball College World Series, Indoor and Outdoor Track and Field Championships, Women’s and Men’s Lacrosse Championship, and Men’s Ice Hockey Frozen Four.

The most-followed NCAA accounts she creates content for throughout the year are Men’s Basketball Final Four, Track and Field, and Volleyball.

“The most exciting part about being an extern is that every championship is unique. Every city, sport, fan base, team and moment is new and invigorating,” she said. “I’ve learned so much and taken so many risks, and it’s all paid off.”

Although graduation is still years away, Greiwe is already contemplating her after-college career plans. A full-time job with the NCAA, or as a videographer for the NFL or a large D1 team is the dream.

“The experience I am gaining is unmatched from anything else I have done; none of this would be possible without Ball State and Sports Link.”
