What first interested you in counseling psychology?

The focus on multicultural and social justice issues

Why did you choose Ball State?

It seemed like the norm in the department was super supportive, which is something I really wanted out of my graduate school experience.

What do you think of your experience at Ball State as a Doctoral student so far?

So far so good!

What are your research interests?

Usually, issues related to stress and coping but more recently I’ve been interested in doing work related to identity.

What are your future plans and career goals?

Graduate. But also, I would like to work in as a clinician in a hospital setting.

What are a few of your favorite hobbies?

I really like to cook, run, and do yoga.

What are you looking forward to most this semester?

This doesn’t have much to do with school, but I always look forward to Springtime and the longer daylight hours that comes with the change in seasons. As for a school related answer I am also looking forward to applying to external practicum sites.

How do you practice self-care?

I try to slip one true break in the middle my day just to reset. I also really like going for walks.
