The Fall semester saw over 70 of our undergraduate students performing volunteer hours at a variety of community-based organizations. These students completed over 1,000 hours that impacted countless clients. Throughout these experiences, students prepared meals, provided childcare services, mentored young minds in after school programming, supported fellow Ball State students through a challenging semester, and courageously advocated for social justice.
Thank you to all the organizations that worked with our students to foster their growth and demonstrate the power of volunteerism. Students completed hours at A Better Way, Second Harvest Food Bank, Muncie Mission, Hillcroft Services, Caterpillars Clubhouse, Muncie Schools, Teddy Bear Child Care, Inside Out Community Development Corporation, Alliance of Social Workers in Sports, Boy’s and Girl’s Club, Motivate Our Minds, Youth Opportunity Center, and Beneficence Scholars. Each of these organizations supported the Ball State University Cardinals Care Pledge to promote student and community safety.
