Lindsay Schultz, a candidate of a master of science in nutrition and dietetics, placed in the top 10 of Ball State’s Three Minute Thesis competition. The challenge for students is to distill their entire thesis into three minutes and one PowerPoint slide.
Schultz competed against 40 other students from a variety of disciplines. Her project, “An Exploration of Indiana and Ohio Farmers’ Beliefs and Attitudes About Farming Methods and Nutrition” evolved from international travel, food tours, conversations with Indiana and Ohio farmers, and her daily work as a registered dietitian.
